Ryota Togishi is a master of his craft, which is knife sharpening. Although you and I might whip a knife blade across a whetstone a few times to get an amateurishly poor edge that is sufficient for our household tasks, Togishi can do much, much more.
His knives are so sharp and his handling so precise that he can cut items into almost transparently thin layers. The video below shows him assembling a paper-thin sandwich with two slices of bread, two slices of cucumber, a slice of ham, and a slice of tomato.
