These Lovely Roses are Actually Dumplings

Chayhana Vostok shows us how to make the prettiest dumplings you've ever seen for any special occasion- especially when you want to impress someone. They look like roses, but inside each is a combination of meat, potatoes, and onions. The dough is the tricky part. The red sliver of it is made with fresh beet juice. The video of the construction is mesmerizing, and conveys what could never be described in text only. You can turn on the captions to get an English translation, but she also posted the ingredients list.

red dough
Beets - 1 pc.
Water - 80 ml
Salt - 1 tsp
Egg

white dough
Flour - 300 gr
Second dough
Water - 80 ml
Salt 1 tsp
Half an egg
Flour - 300 gr

🌶🍅🥒 🥦
Filling
Meat - 200 gr
Onion - 2 pieces
Potato - 1 piece
Salt, black pepper, paprika, meat seasoning
sunflower oil - 50 ml

Note that the captions say the roses should be steamed for 30 minutes over high heat. That's important to make sure the meat is thoroughly cooked. You might be able to cut that time by using cooked meat in the filling, but don't push it too much, because the dough needs to cook, too. Something tells me that you should practice this recipe at least once or twice before serving it to a crowd. By the way, Vostok replied to the comments at YouTube in at least six languages, so if you have questions, you can most likely get an answer. Vostok's channel has plenty of recipes for beautiful Central Asian pastries.
