Some redditors suspected that this was just a cute Photoshop job or even just clip art inserted over a photo of an empty plate. But redditor /u/Single_Disaster_2856 proves that her cake is real with this video showing her slicing into it.
When viewed from the right angle, it looks exactly like a slice of cake from a vibrantly colorful cartoon. You can see more photos of the interior here, which reveals that it’s mostly buttercream, not just fondant.
/u/Single_Disaster_2856 got the idea from the Australian baker Tigga Mac, who has published on YouTube detailed instructions on how to make your own cartoon cake.
