Taiwan takes its ramen very seriously. It appears that developing new and outrageous versions of the dish is a competitive sport in that nation. In the past, we’ve seen ramen dishes served with entire giant isopods and huge frogs. In addition to providing additional protein, these animals certainly add a lot of visual appeal.
Last year, CNN reports, Witch Cat Kwai, a restaurant in Douliu City in the southern part of the country, offered ramen that contained entire crocodile feet. The “Godzilla Ramen” contains the usual ingredients, such as quail eggs, bamboo shoots, and fish paste. But it’s the crocodile foot that has people forking over the $49 price tag for this uniquely scary bowl.
